OUR BROADCAST DISTRIBUTION

CAfrica Sports delivers top-quality sports programming including NBA basketball and the IAAF Diamond League through a network of broadcast affiliates throughout sub-Saharan Africa.

Today, free-to-air signals reach more than 20 percent of households and are projected to reach 50 percent by the year 2015. In contrast, pay television in our territory only reaches less than 1 percent of households due to structural, distribution, building and cost challenges. In contrast, the CAfrica Sports network spans 20 countries and reaches a combined population of 300 million consumers. Based on countries touched and consumers reached, CAfrica Sports maintains the largest private free-to-air broadcast network in all of Africa.

In support of the operation and partners, CAfrica Sports maintains offices in Denver, Colorado, USA and East Africa. We distribute our free-to-air programming in concert with leading production and transmission partners. IMG Media in London oversees the technical aspects of advertising insertion, program production and encrypted satellite transmission. Programming is sent via satellite from London to nearly 20 free-to-air stations throughout sub-Saharan Africa.
